Pamela Mason, BS, CHCP, FACEHP, ATSF is Senior Director of the Medical Education Grants Office at AstraZeneca. Pamela began her career in the pulmonary/allergy research labs at Johns Hopkins and she now has more than 30 years pharmaceutical experience. Her leadership experiences include clinical research, field medical teams, medical communications, medical education, independent grants and compliance. Pamela is a recognised leader in medical education, an invited speaker, conference chair and has received multiple awards. She is a Fellow of the Alliance (ACEhp), past Leader of the Industry member section, and has served on numerous committees and task forces over the years. She was a Founding Director Emeritus, served two terms on the Board of Directors, Commission for Certification of Healthcare Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Professionals. Pamela was invited to serve on the National Task Force on Continuing Medical Education (CME) Provider/Industry Collaboration from 1998 to 2012. She is a member of the American Thoracic Society, International Pharmaceutical Alliance for Medical Education (iPACME) and Global Alliance for Medical Education (GAME).
