James Bannister is a scientific writer and instructional designer specialising in medical education. With over 7 years’ experience in medical education, he leads the scientific writing team at Liberum Independent Medical Education (IME) to develop education that translates novel science into clear guidance and meaningful practice change. James’ particular areas of speciality include microlearning, cardiometabolic medicine and adapting educational content to digital and audio-visual formats. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Global Alliance for Medical Education (GAME), and was recently recognised with a High Commendation as a Young Achiever of the Year at the 2020 Communiqué awards.
