As Associate Medical Director for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) since 2018, Adrian Jennings is the Federation CPD clinical lead. He graduated from the University of Bristol, UK and has been a consultant physician in diabetes and endocrinology in Kings Lynn for 27 years. Adrian has been closely involved in education and training at a local, regional and national level. He worked as an associate postgraduate dean for 5 years, introducing Foundation Training in the Eastern Region. During that time, Adrian devised and led the introduction of the first fully funded deanery-wide preparation for professional practice programme for foundation trainees in the UK; the scheme was subsequently adopted nationally. He has acted as a regional adviser for the Royal College of Physicians, London (2009-19) and as a College Censor (2015-18). He was an elected councillor for the Royal College of Physicians, London (2015-8) and was a Trustee Councillor until 2020. Adrian has been involved in organising and approving CPD for 10 years
