For the past 20 years, Alesa Lehmann Ivancic has held different positions within a variety of departments and responsibilities within the pharmaceutical industry. Alesa’s experience has enabled her to possess a deep understanding of the complex regulatory environment in the US and globally, with a special interest in medical education and learning. Alesa is currently part of regional medical affairs capabilities team at Merck Sharp and Dohme. Her experience in the commercial and medical organisations taught her to become proficient at balancing business opportunities with strict internal and external guidelines. Working across departments and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders in healthcare has been a great challenge and opportunity to develop even further as a business professional.
